Did you know...
Toronto Ribfest food and music festival is a fundraiser for the Rotary Club of Etobicoke. All proceeds raised go to local and international charities. Also …
Toronto Ribfest is run almost entirely by volunteers, who play a critical role in making it such a great festival!
The festival is open from 11 in the morning until 11 at night.
We run three shifts, most from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.; 3 p.m. to 7 p.m.; and 7 p.m. to 11 p.m. A few shifts start earlier, at 9:30 a.m.
We also need volunteers for two days of set up before the event and one day of tear down after the event.
Volunteers who work two shifts in a row get free food.
We can help volunteers on evening shifts get to their car/bus stop on request.
July 1 is our busiest day so we need lots of volunteers, especially for the last shift. Volunteers there for the last shift get a bonus Fireworks display!
Volunteering at Toronto Ribfest is a great opportunity to meet people, give back to the community and have fun, all at the same time! There's always music and a great atmosphere to work in.
Volunteering at Toronto Ribfest earns community service credits. It can also provide valuable work and team experience and volunteers can earn letters of reference.
So come volunteer and help us have a great event!
