Toronto Ribfest

TTC FROM TORONTO:

  • Take the subway to Kipling Station
  • Take the 111 East Mall bus northbound
  • Exit at The East Mall and Yarn Road
  • Walk approximately 2 minutes to Cloverdale Mall

DRIVING FROM TORONTO:

  • Take the Gardiner Expressway Westbound
  • Merge onto Highway 427 Northbound
  • Take the Dundas Street exit
  • Continue straight at the lights into the Cloverdale Mall parking lot

PARKING INFORMATION

MAIN PARKING
Parking is available in the Cloverdale Mall parking lot at 250 The East Mall.

ACCESSIBLE PARKING
Accessible parking is available at Cloverdale Mall. Follow on-site signage for the closest accessible spaces and event entrance.

DROP OFF / PICK UP
Use the Cloverdale Mall parking lot and follow on-site event signage for drop off, pick up, Uber, Lyft, taxi, and volunteer access.

Policies

Pets:

  • With the exception of Service Dogs, and the SuperDogs (with formal IDs), pets are not allowed on the Toronto Ribfest grounds during the event days. Please, DO NOT leave pets in the car.  It is not healthy for them and they will be reported.

Alcohol:

  • You may not bring alcohol to the Toronto Ribfest. It can be purchased in the licensed area in the event. Drink responsibly, as this is a family event. 

Masks:

  • Toronto Ribfest will not request masks. Feel free to use a mask if you understand you should use it.

Prohibited Items

  • Liquids of any kind, Frisbees, sports balls, coolers, fireworks, glass bottles or cans, weapons of any kind and sharp objects, illegal substances, ropes or slack lines, bicycles, skateboards, scooters, hoverboards, in-line skates, pets (animal service excepted, others that endanger the safety of others as determined by security staff.,

Code of Conduct

  • At Toronto Ribfest, we’re committed to a safe, respectful, and inclusive event experience for everyone. Please keep your behavior lawful and considerate — any of the following may result in ejection:
    • Foul, threatening, abusive or discriminatory language/gestures
    • Harassment (including unwanted physical or sexual advances)
    • Fighting, violence or throwing objects
    • Offensive clothing, signs or banners
    • Intoxication or illegal substance use
    • Possession of outside alcohol, weapons, illegal drugs, or other prohibited items
    • Smoking (including e-cigarettes and cannabis)
    • Unauthorized access to restricted or VIP areas
    • Any conduct deemed unsafe or disruptive by security or management

What to expect when you arrive:

  • All guests should arrive with the expectation of having their bags/belongings searched. You should avoid bringing items to the event which are not permitted on the grounds (see the list below). Guests who decline to be voluntarily searched will not be permitted entry to the Toronto Ribfest:
    Items Not Permitted on the Event Grounds
    • Alcoholic beverages (other than those sold in licensed areas onsite. Drink responsibly, as it is a family event),
    • Illegal drugs,
    • Weapons of any kind,
    • In-line skates, bicycles, skateboards, motorized self-balancing hover boards/scooters
    • Pets (service animals excepted), see above
    • Possession of any other object that endangers the safety of others (as determined by event’s staff in their reasonable discretion).

Services

Medical Services:

  • An Ambulance will be working daily throughout the Toronto Ribfest to assist with immediate First Aid, if needed.

TORONTO POLICE SERVICES:

  • Toronto Police Services will be attending Toronto Ribfest.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is there an event admission fee?

Toronto Ribfest, in support of the Rotary Club of Etobicoke, is asking for a $3 in support of our community. You can pay at the gate. To learn more about how this supports our community visit the causes section.

Are dogs allowed inside the festival?

Due to the nature of our event, we do not allow dogs at the festival unless they are registered service animals.
